Kenyans can now pre-order (starting from Jan 23) the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which introduces rounded corners and a new 50 MP camera to replace the 12 MP sensor in the S24 Ultra. While the design remains largely unchanged since the S22 Ultra (2022), Samsung seems to be banking on the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” strategy. But for how long will that suffice?
Like 2024, the S25 Ultra, alongside its smaller siblings (the base S25 and the S25 Plus), is packed with new AI features. We played with the devices earlier today during a media briefing. One UI 7 is also in tow, and we look forward to using the devices more to understand their software fully and, by extension, AI capabilities.
