In May this year, OPPO launched the Reno10 line of devices, followed by a global launch a few weeks later. It is set to arrive in Kenya in September.
The retail package includes a 67W SuperVOOC adapter and a proprietary charging cable. The device is set to make its debut in Kenya next week.
Specs
OPPO Reno10 seeks to be an affordable mid-range option, yet it shows some premium quality. The phone’s lightweight build and gently curved 2.5D screen provide a comfortable grip and a pleasing tactile experience. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display delivers impressive size and brightness. It has a 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
To be different from other devices in its price range, this phone has three cameras – a 64 MP primary sensor, a 32 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It’s the first among the vanilla Reno devices to let go of the somewhat useless 2 MP sensors.
The selfie camera is also consistent at 32 MP with autofocus and an f/2.4 aperture.
Under the hood, it houses a Snapdragon 778G processor and offers three memory configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and a high-tier variant with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Powering the device is a 5000 mAh battery that supports rapid charging at up to 67W.
Running the latest ColorOS 13.1, the Oppo Reno10 features improved QR code scanning and smarter app location for quicker access. The phone has a graphite cooling system with a vapour chamber for heat dissipation.
