Epson has opened a new sales company to serve the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central & West Asia (META-CWA) region.
Led by President Neil Colquhoun, the company will capitalize on the region’s growth and provide tailored technology solutions.
With headquarters in Dubai, the new operations will focus on visual display, printing, scanning, lifestyle, and manufacturing solutions.
Epson’s goal is to meet the specific needs of businesses and consumers in healthcare, finance, education, hospitality, construction, entertainment, retail, and tourism.
The company has reported strong sales growth in the region, with portfolios like education solutions seeing over 100% growth in recent years.
Epson says that it is committed to sustainability. By 2050, it aims to become carbon-negative and reduce reliance on limited resources. It also offers sustainable technologies to help consumers reduce their carbon footprint.
The new company’s leadership team reflects its commitment to diversity and inclusion, with women holding nearly half of management positions. This focus on creating an inclusive environment supports both professional and business growth within the META-CWA region.
“At Epson, we take pride in what we design, manufacture, and deliver. This expansion into the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central & West Asia represents more than just business growth — it’s about connecting with the heart of local needs and delivering technology that empowers people and businesses, all while caring for the planet and building a more sustainable future,” said Colquhoun.
