Kenya’s biggest telcos, Safaricom has launched the “Grow with Safaricom Business” platform for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The platform aims to provide MSMEs with opportunities for knowledge-sharing and collaboration to help them grow their businesses. MSMEs can attend workshops and seminars throughout the year to learn how to leverage digital technologies to improve their market reach, streamline operations, and build a strong online brand presence. Experts will guide navigating regulations and ensuring compliance for sustainable growth.
Safaricom acknowledges the crucial role MSMEs play in driving Kenya’s economic development. Through the Grow with Safaricom Business series, they aim to equip MSMEs with the knowledge and skills to achieve sustainable growth, overcoming challenges such as digitization, limited market access, regulatory hurdles, brand building, and a lack of digital marketing expertise.
The forum will provide networking opportunities for MSMEs to connect industry experts and potential partners. This allows them to leverage Safaricom’s extensive network, experience, and commitment to innovation to thrive in the digital era.
“As Safaricom we recognize the vital role that MSMEs play in driving economic growth and prosperity in Kenya. Through the Grow with Safaricom Business series, we aim to empower MSMEs with the knowledge and skills that can help them to sustainably accelerate their growth and overcome challenges such as digitization of their operations, limited access to markets, regulatory barriers, brand building, and a lack of digital marketing skills,” said Cynthia Kropac, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Safaricom.
Safaricom offers various business solutions relevant to MSMEs, including Business Voice, Data and SMS, Cloud Solutions, Cybersecurity Solutions, Internet for Business, Internet of Things (IoT), M-Pesa for Business, and Cloud Solutions.
