How to check secondary school placements for 2024

The Ministry of Education released the 2023 KCPE examination results and announced that placement will take place, with the exercise finally launching today.

Candidates can be able to access their placement in the Kenya Education Management Information System (KEMIS) website, through the following procedure:

Locate the ‘Form One Selection and Placement’ button
Enter the candidate’s Index Number and full name
Select the ‘Search’ button
The candidate’s secondary school will be displayed.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, speaking at the Form One placement launch in Nairobi School, said all candidates who obtained 400 marks and above have been placed in various National and Extra County Schools of their choice.
