A couple of days ago, we learned that MultiChoice would adjust the package prices for DStv upwards. This is not the first time the company has done this since the fees had been revised two times in less than one year. DStv Premium’s monthly cost will cost KES 9900 from KES 9500, while Compact Plus subscribers will now pay KES 6200 instead of the previous KES 5900. Family and Access subscribers will also see a slight increase, with new monthly fees of KES 1850 and KES 1300, up from KES 1750 and KES 1250, respectively.
Similarly, GOtv’s SUPA plan has been adjusted to KES 1900 from KES 1750, and the Max tier will now cost KES 1450 instead of KES 1350.
The company has also announced a price change for DStv for Business starting August 1.
