Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A55 and the A35 for the Kenyan market. These devices, as their names suggest, succeed the A54 and the A34 from 2023 – both of which we reviewed here and admired. This time around, the devices, which arrived a few weeks after the South Korean phone maker launched the A15 and A25, feature some new and interesting features. The A55, for instance, sports a new chipset (a 4nm Exynos 1480) promising better performance, which is a welcome improvement considering the A54 could struggle with basic tasks.
The A35, on the other hand, ditches the notch that somewhat made the A34 look outdated. Other improvements can be seen on the hardware front, including superior finishes, upgraded cameras, and larger screens (particularly for the A55).
