Latitude59, Estonia’s flagship tech and startup conference, is happening for the 12th time in Tallinn, Estonia on May 22-24, 2024. This follows a successful event staging at Nairobi’s Sarit Centre in 2023.

Latitude59 says that their program is beginning to take form, introducing a new segment dedicated to discussing topics such as deep technology and emerging technologies. These discussions will focus on disruptive, highly promising, and advanced solutions, all underpinned by human values that dictate the ethical use of these technologies. They pose the question of whether Europe, historically rooted in humanism, can lead the essential dialogue ahead of the dominant global tech corporations.

This year, Latitude59 will convene startups, investors, and representatives from around the world to collectively seek answers or, at the very least, pose the pertinent questions together. According to a statement from Latitude59, as they continue advancing their vision of a Global Village, the 2024 event promises to be more internationally diverse and impactful than ever.

We need more tech solutions that are based on science. A big portion of our program in 2024 will be about deep tech and future technologies. For all of us here in the tech sector, the challenge is clear – how can we take responsibility? How can we contribute? We might not reach success right away – we might not even know what success looks like, yet – but just the act of trying creates possibilities that no one knew before. In 2024, we will bring together startups, investors, and spokespeople from a global level to find answers, or at least, ask the right questions, together. – Latitude59
