GTBank Kenya expands GTExpress to 46 locations in phase one rollout

Guaranty Trust Bank (Kenya) Limited has completed the first phase of its agency banking rollout, GTExpress, with 46 locations now operational across the country.

The service, launched in May 2025 and offered in partnership with Posta Kenya, is available in Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kisii, Nyeri, Nakuru, Nanyuki and other towns where Posta outlets are located.

Through GTExpress, customers can withdraw and deposit cash via USSD, open accounts by submitting details digitally, and carry out other basic transactions at Posta outlets. Transaction costs for withdrawals are set below current market rates.

The bank says phase two of the rollout will add 54 more outlets by the end of 2025, bringing the total to 100 locations nationwide.
