NCBA has allocated KES 12 million to over 150 students through various partners as part of its KES 100 million annual pledge.
The funds have been disbursed through Edumed Trust, Dr. Choksey Albinism Foundation, M-PESA Foundation Academy, SOS Children’s Villages Kenya, Palmhouse Foundation, Daraja Kenya Initiative, KENSAP, WEDCO, and Kianda Foundation.
The scholarships will support education and entrepreneurship programmes.
NCBA has also relaunched its Boys Mentorship Programme at Upperhill Boys High School in partnership with the Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF).
The cheque handover event took place at Nairobi Railway Museum, where NCBA and its partners planted trees.
