Enterprise software firm Zoho launches a new app for accountants

Zoho has launched Zoho Practice, a practice management solution designed specifically for accountants. The corporation has also expanded its Zoho Finance Platform with the introduction of over 230 extensions in the Zoho Marketplace, along with the establishment of a dedicated developer portal.

In Kenya, Zoho has recorded some progress with a remarkable 102% year-on-year increase in new customers for its Zoho Finance Platform. This growth has been primarily driven by Zoho Books, its flagship accounting solution, which is compliant with VAT regulations and seamlessly integrates with Tax Invoice Management Systems (TIMS).

Over the past 15 years, the Zoho Finance Platform has evolved from a single invoicing product into a comprehensive finance and operations suite. It has seen growth in the MEA region, with a 50% increase in new customers. The platform has also expanded its global accounting partner network by 63% in the past year.

Zoho has also introduced an enterprise-grade Developer Portal for developers to create custom solutions for their finance applications and share them on the Zoho Marketplace.

Zoho Practice offers modern solutions for accountants, including client management, document management, and task management, just to mention a few.

This practice management solution seamlessly integrates with Zoho Books and Zoho Expense, providing accountants with a central repository to manage their clients’ financial operations efficiently. This integration empowers accountants to offer more value-added services and expand their firms.

Zoho Practice is immediately available and is free for organizations with up to 3 users. Extra users can be added through a purchased add-on at a cost of up to KES 200 per month per user. The extensions available in the Zoho Marketplace are priced by their respective developers.
