Teresa Anania joins Sophos as chief customer officer

Cybersecurity corporation Sophos has announced that Teresa Anania will join the company as Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Anania will lead customer and partner success initiatives to enhance the value of Sophos’ cybersecurity solutions and services, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR), endpoint, network, email, and cloud security.

With over 25 years of experience in customer satisfaction and sales, Anania joined Sophos from Zendesk, where she managed a global client base of over 110,000 customers. She brings expertise in scaling post-sales customer engagement and driving significant Return on Investment (ROI).

As CCO, Anania will foster a customer-centric culture, collaborate with channel partners and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and ensure a seamless experience for Sophos’ growing customer base of over 600,000 organizations.

“Sophos is in an exciting growth phase, and I’m eager to contribute my experience in building positive customer experiences,” said Anania. “I will work closely with partners and the global team to advocate for customers and drive value from Sophos’ portfolio.”

“Organizations need regular IT environment assessments to effectively combat cyberattacks,” said Joe Levy, CEO of Sophos. “Teresa’s expertise will help us put customers at the center of our business, alongside our channel partners and MSPs. Her role will help keep our customers secure.”
