Tatu City’s fibre service hits 1000 active connections milestone

Tatu Telecom, Tatu City’s provider, has connected 1,000 customers to its fibre network and installed 85,000 metres of fibre cable.

Tatu Telecom offers internet to homes, schools, and businesses in Tatu City. The ISP claims that new residents are connected within 24 hours.

Tatu Telecom’s open-access network attracts diverse customers, including major call centres, corporate offices, and educational institutions. Tatu Telecom has implemented a 24-hour help desk to meet growing demand and plans to introduce new offerings.

Over 80 local, regional, and global businesses are operational or under development in Tatu City.

Tatu Telecom’s fibre network complements other essential services in Tatu City, including water, power, and sewerage.

A few months ago, Tatu City launched Fahari Link to extend affordable internet to underserved communities in Kiambu County. The fibre product is akin to what Poa! Internet offers, where connections are availed to low-income areas, at an affordable rate.
