Last week, South Korean phone maker Samsung released its foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6. During the same Unpacked event, which Samsung Kenya also staged for local enthusiasts in Nairobi, Samsung also announced new wearables: the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. These new wearables are packed with wellness features, personalized insights, and tailored health experiences.
And just like any other wearable, the devices focus on digital health.
The Galaxy Ring offers a minimalist design; it is lightweight (between 2.3 and 3 grams) and water-resistant (10ATM) for 24/7 wear. With a titanium finish, the ring has up to 7 days of battery life and comes with a charging case. It comes in three colors (Titanium Black, Silver, and Gold) and multiple sizes to ensure a perfect fit.
Galaxy Ring provides comprehensive health tracking with Galaxy AI technology that personalizes your experience over time. All your data and insights are integrated into Samsung Health for access within one platform.
Its other features include sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring
Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra alongside the Galaxy Ring. Both watches focus on wellness, but cater to different needs. Details, including advanced health tracking features and Galaxy AI integration for personalized insights.
The Galaxy Watch is aimed at a broader audience, focusing on everyday health and fitness. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has been designed for more rugged activities and endurance athletes with its extra durability and advanced GPS features.
