It is very likely that you are a Google One subscriber, likely because your primary email’s 15 GB storage was full, or picked a subscription after Google ended free pics uploads to Photos.

Google also increased the charges for One, and now starts from KES 250 for 100 GB. The product also included a VPN service for Western customers, but the product (VPN) will be discontinued soon.

Now, Google One is giving photo editing enthusiasts a boost in May.

Here are the new changes:

  • More editing power for everyone: Popular features like Magic Eraser and Portrait Light will be available on more devices starting mid-May. This means you can use these tools not just on your Pixel phone, but also on compatible tablets and other devices.
  • Pixel users get an AI upgrade: Magic Editor, which lets you make complex edits with ease using AI, is coming to all Pixel devices in May.
  • A small change to print orders: Free delivery for select photo prints from Google Photos will no longer be offered in the US, Canada, UK, and EU starting mid-May.

What stays the same:

  • Storage: You’ll still enjoy the same amount of storage.
  • Family sharing: Share your storage with up to five family members.
