Servercore, an IT infrastructure provider in Kenya, has migrated GoDeliveries’ cloud infrastructure from an offshore provider to a local cloud solution.
GoDeliveries, a food delivery service serving Nairobi communities, previously faced challenges with its cloud infrastructure. These included high costs, slow response times, inefficient servers, and increased network latency, hindering the startup’s service quality and growth.
To address these challenges, GoDeliveries partnered with Servercore to implement cloud products and ensure a smooth migration. The partnership used advanced cloud migration tools and methodologies, resulting in robust and scalable cloud infrastructure tailored to GoDeliveries’ operational needs.
The migration project involved a comprehensive assessment of GoDeliveries’ current infrastructure and application dependencies, detailed migration planning, deployment of custom-configured high-performance cloud servers and a MySQL cloud database, performance testing, security and compliance measures, and continuous monitoring.
The successful cloud migration project was completed within a month, significantly improving cloud performance and operational efficiency for GoDeliveries.
Servercore ensured a seamless migration, providing a high fault tolerance of 99.98% and minimizing technical incident response times to an average of 15 minutes. The project also reduced overall cloud IT infrastructure costs by 43% through a transparent pay-as-you-go billing model.
