The Fintech Association of South Africa (FINASA) has sealed a partnership with the African Digital Finance Summit (ADFS).
This collaboration was formalised with the signing of a Memorandum of Association by Darren Franks of FINASA, and Mary Njoki of ADFS, marking a significant step forward in the development and growth of fintech companies across Africa.
The ADFS is renowned for its pivotal role in fostering innovation, providing a platform for industry leaders, and driving the growth of the digital finance sector on the continent. This partnership will enable members of FINASA to gain exclusive access to the summit, which will feature an array of topics and speakers focusing on key areas such as regulatory developments, technological advancements, and investment opportunities within the fintech industry.
Darren Franks, CEO of FINASA, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “This partnership with ADFS is a great opportunity for our members. The summit will provide a great platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and showcasing the innovative strides being made within the fintech sector. We are committed to supporting the growth and success of fintech companies in South Africa and across Africa, and this partnership is a significant step in that direction.”
The ADFS event, which is scheduled for later this year, promises to bring together thought leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders from across the fintech landscape.
Attendees can expect insightful panel discussions, interactive workshops, and opportunities to connect with potential investors and partners.
As part of the partnership, FINASA members will receive special invitations and preferential access to the summit, ensuring they can maximise the benefits of this premier event. This collaboration aligns with FINASA’s mission to be a voice for the fintech sector, encouraging international expansion from South Africa and attracting investment into the country.
