Ride hailing firm Bolt has announced the launch of Scheduled Rides. Scheduled Rides allows users to book a ride up to 72 hours in advance without the need for last-minute booking. The new feature will also be valuable for business customers, who through the Ride Booker feature on the Bolt Business account, can reserve rides for work-related trips or book the same for their business guests.

Scheduled Rides offer a range of key advantages, including the convenience of booking rides up to 72 hours ahead, enabling passengers to plan ahead and concentrate on other important activities. Availability concerns during peak periods or busy are also eliminated, as Scheduled Rides guarantees confirmed transportation. Passengers also enjoy flexibility by selecting their desired vehicle category and providing specific instructions to drivers, tailoring each trip to their individual needs. The feature’s primary focus on punctuality ensures passengers consistently reach their destinations on schedule.

“We are happy to introduce Scheduled Rides, a significant feature that adds even more convenience to our valued passengers. Planning for a future trip is now easier than it has ever been on Bolt. Passengers have more control over their business and personal travel, making mobility seamless and more enjoyable,” said Linda Ndungu, Country Manager.

The process of using Scheduled Rides is straightforward: start by opening the Bolt app and entering your destination as you typically would. Next, choose the “Schedule Ride” feature and specify your desired pickup date and time. After confirming your booking, your ride will arrive at your designated location for your trip.
