Sophos has launched a revamped partner programme, bringing together its existing network with that of Secureworks, which it acquired earlier this year.
The unified programme targets managed service providers, resellers, and systems integrators, and is designed to simplify cross-portfolio selling while scaling access to tools, sales support, and partner training. It also integrates new resources, including an AI sales assistant and a redesigned portal for quoting and compliance tracking.
The company says the move will streamline customer acquisition, help partners develop recurring revenue services, and better respond to rising demand for cybersecurity expertise. Data from Canalys shows that for every $1 spent on cybersecurity products, an additional $2 goes into services, mostly via partners.
Sophos’ expanded portfolio now covers endpoint, cloud, network, email security, XDR, SIEM, and identity threat detection—all managed through Sophos Central. Partners also get new incentives and certifications aimed at speeding up onboarding and enabling quicker deployment of services like MDR.
Early partner feedback points to a focus on operational ease. “Access to Secureworks services means we won’t need to build those capabilities in-house,” said Dave Peck, CEO of Trebron.
Andrew Campbell of Softchoice added that Sophos’ tools remain core to their customer offerings, and that updates to the platform—like the AI Sales Assistant—are improving workflows.
The consolidation comes as partners face more pressure to differentiate and adapt to complex buyer demands, with cybersecurity spending shifting toward outcome-based services.
