MultiChoice-owned GOtv platform has announced plans to air the Premier League and La Liga matches at the start of the incoming season. The live games will be available on the GOtv Supa+ package, which is also a host of other 70+ channels.
This is the first time that GOtv subscribers will be able to enjoy this product. The move may be seen to cushion Kenyans from high DStv prices, which MultiChoice just increased a few days ago. The Premium plan, for instance, now costs KES 9900, and for people who just want to enjoy a match or two without paying a premium that DStv now charges, they might as well pick the GOtv Supa+ package.
GOtv Supa+ will be available in Mozambique, Uganda, Ghana, Namibia, Zambia, Nigeria, Malawi, and Kenya, starting from 1 August 2023.
Currently, GOtv runs five packages that start from KES 200. Here is the full list:

Based on the list, it is obvious that the new and upgraded Supa channel (Supa+) will cost above the value of Supa.
Updates on other MultiChoice products as the football season kicks in
The Premier League starts on August 11th, 2023, with Burnley vs Man City. La Liga begins the following weekend, August 12th, 2023, and Serie A on August 20th, 2023.
SuperSport has dedicated channels for each league: Channel 223 for the Premier League, Channel 224 for La Liga, and Serie A. DStv & GOtv customers will have access to games based on their packages:
- DStv Access and GOtv Plus will get 2 live games from the Premier League, 2 from La Liga, and 2 from Serie A every weekend.
- GOtv Max will offer the best of La Liga, Serie A, and selected UCL games.
- DStv Family includes all La Liga and the best of Serie A, along with 2 Premier League games per week and selected UCL games.
- DStv Compact, Compact Plus, and Premium can enjoy simultaneous Serie A kick-offs.
