Fintech unicorn Flutterwave has expanded its Send App remittance service across the US and restored support for all major cards, including Amex and Discover.
The move widens its reach in a crowded cross-border payments market where speed, reliability and coverage decide market share.
The update gives users in the US, UK, and Europe more options to send money to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and Cameroon. The company says it has strengthened compliance checks, oversight and transaction security as part of the rollout.
Temiloluwa Adesina, who co-leads product, said the expansion opens a new chapter for Send App and makes it easier for members of the African diaspora to move money home using any major card.
The company adds that the product will offer faster settlements, better reliability and clearer transaction tracking. It also pointed to work on virtual accounts, stablecoin payments and digital asset transfers as it builds more cross-border features.
Flutterwave’s recent work with Polygon and Circle feeds into the same goal of building a wider network that links African users to global payment systems.
